Donald Lee Houck, age 91, of Hartville passed away on Sunday October 23, 2016. He was born in Canton on February 2, 1925 to the late Amon and Elsie G. (Matthews) Houck. Don was a WW II Navy Veteran. He had worked several places including Stark-Wayne Lung Association and Molly Stark Hospital. A member of New Baltimore Community Church, former member of the Hartville United Church of Christ, The Chapel in Marlboro, Don extended kindness to others. He especially loved and took care of neighborhood cats.

Preceded in death by his wife Shirley (McBrayer), brother Larry Houck and sisters Ann Hooper, Phyllis Besozzi and Elsie Ralston. He is survived by his son Eric Lee Houck and great-granddaughter Jade Anna Wolfe; nieces and nephews including Sandy, Bryan and Anita Knowles.

Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Wednesday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Baker officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
