Donald Dean Detweiler, age 66, of Florida formerly of Hartville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 6, 2023. He was born in Canton on October 28, 1956 to the late Joseph J. and Sara (Miller) Detweiler. He was a great concrete finisher, worked oil rigs and was in real estate sales. He liked fixing things especially auto mechanics. He enjoyed state parks, nature and the outdoors. Mostly, Don had a sincere desire to help people.

He is survived by his son Heath (fiancée Tiffany Lopez) Detweiler; siblings Jim Detweiler, Cheryl (Ralph) McDonald; nephews Joshua and Matthew McDonald; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all.

Calling hours are Wednesday January 18th from 10:30 AM- 11:00 AM at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church, 10547 Market Ave N, Uniontown, OH. Funeral services begin at 11:00 AM in the church with Eugene Sommers officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
