Diana Marek, age 91 of Stow, formerly of Canton, passed away Sunday morning at Stow Glen Health Care Center. She was born May 11, 1915 in New London, CT to Julius and Bella (Davis) Rubin and was a Canton resident for 53 years before moving to Stow in 2001. While living in Canton she was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue. Her husband Howard preceded her in death in 1986. Survivors include a son Martin (Virginia) Marek of Stow; grandson Daniel (Kristen) Marek and their children, Lindsay and Connor Marek; granddaughter Janet Marek all of Kent, OH.; nephews Gerald and Stanley Rubin and niece Joan Lipman all of Connecticut. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Irving Rubin. Funeral services were held Monday in the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating.
