Diana R. Haiber, age 63 of Canton, passed away Tuesday evening surrounded by her family after an extended illness. Born in Newton Falls, Ohio to the late William and Stella (Ritchey) Garretson, Diana was a sweet soul that loved her family. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies including art, collecting buttons and spending time with her children and great-grandchildren. She lived her life to the fullest. Diana is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Haiber; daughter, Amanda (Bernie) Mann; son, Charles (Heather) Haiber; grandchildren, Heather and Brandon Mann; great-grandson, Noah Thomas; brother, Albert Garretson; and sister-in-law, Catherine Taylor. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Pastor Anthony DiMarco. There will be no calling hours, and interment will be private for the family.
