Derill C. Ferguson, Jr., age 67 of Marlboro passed away on May 12, 2024, at Akron General Hospital following a courageous fight with heart related issues. He was born in Pontiac, MI to Derill and Mabel (Gillis) Ferguson and graduated from high school in California. Derill moved to the Hartville and Marlboro areas in the early 1990s and ultimately began to work at the Hartville Hardware for over 26 years, retiring in 2019. Derill was a devoted husband, an amazing father, grandfather, and a wonderful friend to many. He also enjoyed tending to his chickens on their property.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, of almost 24 years; daughters Michelle Ferguson, Raquel Escott, and Samantha (Cory) McClenahan; grandchildren Emma Escott and Chase McClenahan; 6 siblings; he will be missed by his special dog, Daisey Jane. He is preceded in death by his siblings Gary Tandeski and Brinda Wallis

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 16 from 4-7 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 17 at 11 AM in the funeral home. Following cremation, final resting place will be North Lawn Cemetery.
