IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dennis Lee
Noland
June 19, 1942 – April 3, 2015
Dennis Lee Noland, age 72, of Canton, passed away peacefully early Good Friday morning, April 3, 2015 in Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Facility. Our grateful hearts beat with less panic today. For more than 47 years, Denny worked daily as the co-owner of Vee Gee Enterprise Corporation, a small family business started by his father-in-law in 1954 until his retirement in December 2012. Denny was a McKinley Bulldog that loved spending time with his family, fishing, playing basketball, softball, volleyball, as well as keno. Denny took the time to find out the things people needed and made sure they got them. He would give the shirt off his back, the shoes off his feet, to someone in need. He was an incredibly giving and special person. Denny was a husband, dad, son, brother, son-in-law, uncle, loyal friend, and the very best Papa ever. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Gheen), son Steve (Dana) Noland, daughter Wendy (Jeff) Carroll, beloved granddaughters Kourtney Ickes, Lindsey Noland, and Kaylee Carroll, and sister, Roberta Rogers. He was preceded in death by mom, Virgie Clark, father-in-law, Delmar L. Gheen, mother-in-law, Lauramae Gheen, and dear friend, Bob Oster. Special thanks to Drs. John Sutton, Steven Grossman, and Jeffrey Marsh, Palliative Care nurse, Tina Parker and the entire staff at Aultman's Compassionate Care Center. You brought us peace in our time of need. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial contributions to: Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center 2821 Woodlawn Avenue NW Canton, Ohio 44708. A private family service was held graveside in Forest Hill Cemetery. Please sign the guest book.
