Dennis R. Howell, age 73, of Hartville passed away on July 29, 2024, following a fight against pancreatic cancer. He was born in Akron on September 9, 1950, to George (Bob) and Eunice (Johnson) Howell and is a graduate of Kenmore High School. Dennis spent 30 years working for the Akron Public School District where he served as an Audio/Visual Technician for all the buildings throughout the district. Following his retirement from the schools, he spent time working at Lowes and Home Depot as well as a golf course ranger at Sunny Hill Golf Course in Brimfield. Dennis was known for his love of playing golf, listening to classic rock, and for his quiet generous demeanor. Dennis was generous with his time and resources to those who needed it most. His family will forever be thankful for his "bucket list" trip to Alaska recently.  His favorite role was that of Grandpa to all his grandchildren and great grandchild.

Dennis is survived by his children Keisha (George) Klepec and Byron Howell; grandchildren Adreanna and George Klepec, Jade, Sapphire, Diamond, Ava, and Byron Howell; great grandson Zion; brothers Jerry (Marilynn) Howell and Bob (Yvonne) Howell.

The family would like to thank Summa Hospice for their compassionate care.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life service will be held on September 28, 2024, at Evermore Community Church at 1470 Smith Kramer St. NE, Hartville, Ohio 44632
