Deloris B. Springer, age 93, of Canton died Tuesday morning in Altercare of Noble's Pond. Born in Cameron, WV to the late Oliver & Nola (VanScyoc) Bruhn she had worked for the Hoover Co. during WW II and retired from the Stark County Board of Elections. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and the Republican Women's Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband: Clifford Springer and a brother: Charles Bruhn. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Tom (Sharon) Tuersley of Jackson Township, Joy Dunn of Sun City Center, FL and Mrs. David (Diane) Perry of N. Canton. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a sister Hilda Bentz of Wheeling, WV also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Wendy Bausman officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
