Deane Steven Martinez, age 71, of North Canton, went to be with the Lord Friday morning. Deane was born in Canton, to the late Julian and Helen (Segeti) Martinez. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School and earned a degree at Ohio State University. Deane retired from National Feedscrew and Machining. He enjoyed fishing, boating, landscaping and most of all he loved his family. Deane is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Darlena; daughter, Dena James (John Griffith); son, Daniel Martinez; grandchildren, Corey and Seth James, Ezekiel and Kelsie Martinez; great grandson, Benton; brother, Randall (Glenda) Martinez; Nephews, Timothy and Ryan Martinez; aunt, Jean Segeti; special niece, Demetria (Mike) Rossetti and many friends. Funeral service and interment will be private for the family.
