David R. Williams, age 88, of Canton died Sunday evening in Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, OH to the late Charles H. & Martha L. (Kirkbride) Williams he had resided here since 1950. A Navy Veteran of WW II, David was retired from Television Maintenance Company and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: David Williams in 1958, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Doris M. Williams of the residence. Two daughters: Mrs. Mark (Gail) Reinholz of N. Canton and Mrs. Jim (Jill) Welch of S. Carolina. Son: Richard Williams of Louisville, OH. Ten grandchildren. Two sisters: Rosella Hendricks of Greensburg, OH and Louise Babcock of Florida. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Wendy Bausman officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1:45 P.M. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
