David Thomas Owen III, age 82, of Hartville, passed away peacefully on July 28 at Rose Lane Nursing Home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 14, 1943, to David Thomas Jr. and Betty (Hunt) Owen. David served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of Malone University and Stark State College. He was a financial planner in the area for over 30 years. David and his loving wife Denise (Fox) were married for 52 years.

He is survived by his wife Denise, his three children: his son David IV (Jeni) Owen and their daughters Sadie (Sam) Tornow, Aviana, and Siena; his daughter Amy (James) Ferguson and their children Elijah, Levi, Hannah, and Eden; and his son Jonathan (Joelle Kidd) Owen. He is also survived by his sister Dianne (Owen) Huling and her family.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, August 5 from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. The funeral service begins at 11:30 with Pastor Pat Hartson officiating. Final resting place is Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
