David W. Klamer, age 92, of Canton, passed away Tuesday February 8, 2011. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 6, 1918 to the late Joe and Rachael (Lavinson) Klamer. He was the vice president of Canton Wood Products for 43 years and retired in 1983. He was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue and its Men's Club, the Colleague Club and the Senior Adult Organization of the Canton Jewish Community Center. Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Sara Kathryn Klamer on January 18, 2011 and sisters Betty Sadowsky and Sarah Kaplan. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Ronald and Michele Klamer of Denver, Colorado, Martin and Sharon Klamer of North Canton ; grandchildren Chase and Dallas of Denver, Tiffany and Tom Lorenz of North Canton and Michael and Terri Dutiel of Northfield Center, Ohio; brother Reuben Klamer of La Jolla, California; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Interment will be in Canton Hebrew Cemetery.
