David M. Emig, age 50, of North Canton, OH passed away unexpectedly Saturday night November 1, 2008. He was born September 14, 1958 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Joe and Judy (Baughman) Emig. David received his Bachelor's degree in Business and Mathematics from Westminster College and had attended Ashland University. He was currently working as an independent contractor and realtor and previously worked for First Energy for over 25 years. He was a member of the Chapel in North Canton. Dave was a member of the Stark County Realtor's Association and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, loved the outdoors, hunting and especially loved family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth (Presnar); sons Andrew Emig of New Castle, an Engineering Student at Youngstown State University, Paul Emig of New Castle, currently in Korea with the U.S. Army; step children Marissa Beck and Greg Beck of North Canton; parents Judy and Joe Emig of New Castle; sister and brother-in-law Patty and Norman Bender of New Castle; brother and sister-in-law John and Janet Emig of Parker, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his first wife Pamela Emig in 1982.
