David L. Dietrich age 77, of Hartville, is now free of pain and went to be with the Lord on Monday Oct. 20, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born on March 25, 1937 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Roy and Mable Dietrich and had been the owner of The Craft Shop in Hartville for over 30 years. He retired from the Press Room at The Canton Repository. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peg; children, Keri and Scott White of North Canton, Mike and Cindy Dietrich of Hartville; grandchildren, Jon and Gwen White, Jarred White, David and Ryan Dietrich; and great-grandson, William White. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Peace Cemetery. David loved the Lord, his church and their outreach in Haiti. As a lasting memorial, contributions may be made to the Greenwood Christian Church, 4425 Frazer St. NW, Canton, OH 44709, for the church's mission work in Haiti.
