David John Caswell, age 53, departed this life for his Heavenly home on Sunday October 9, 2016 after a short illness. He was born in Canton on May 28, 1963, graduated from Timken High School in 1981 and was a life long resident of Canton. An avid sports fan of the Browns and Cavaliers, David loved to throw darts and had recently won his division in his dart league. His kindness and loving personality toward those he loved was boundless.

Preceded in death by parents Cathy and Tom Caswell, longtime love and companion Angie Rucker and grandson Gage Fowler. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons David (Lisa) Caswell, Chad (Rachel) Rucker, Justin (Elizabeth) Rucker, Tyler Rucker Sr., Matt Jennings, and daughter Candace (Mike Fowler) Thomas; sisters Marilora (Booker) Redrick, Vicki (Tim) Durben; brother Fuller (Patti) Smith; grandchildren Mackenzie, Delia, Aimee, Hayley, Lilly, Abigail, Kamren, Kyle, Tyler Jr., Destiny and Alexander; his loving girlfriend Dee Hetrick and sons Matt and Kevin Price; ex-wife Karen Caswell; and a host of loving nieces/ great-nieces, nephews/ great-nephews and many life long friends. David will be greatly missed by all those who have loved him and spent time with him.

Calling hours are Wednesday 6-9 PM and one hour prior to services (11-noon Thursday) at Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services are Thursday 12 noon. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
