David B. Troyer, age 81, of Akron, OH passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1940 in Hartville, Ohio to the late Ben and Amanda (Beachy) Troyer. He retired from Ohio Edison after working for over 20 years.

David is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Amanda; two children Todd and Julie; former spouse Elaine; six brothers Abe, Melvin, Noah, Mose, Eli, and Joni; and four sisters Lovina, Anna, Susan, and Amanda.

David is survived by five grandchildren Damon and friend Jessica, Alex, Amanda, Daniel, and Christopher; three brothers Ben (Emma) Troyer of Coalgate, OK, Levi (Katie) Troyer of Hartville, OH, Crist (Alice) Troyer of Hartville, OH; Sisters-in-law Alta Troyer of Hartville, OH, Judy Troyer of Hartville, OH, and Elmina Troyer-Burkholder of Mt. Hope, OH.

Calling hours are Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1:30-3:30 at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church 10547 Market Ave. N. Hartville, OH. A short memorial service immediately following calling hours. Final resting place is at Chestnut Hills Memorial Park, Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
