Whitmer, Daryl. G. "Sonny', age 75, of Canton died Friday afternoon in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton he was retired from Locker Moving and Storage. In addition to his parents Warren & Virginia Whitmer he was preceded in death by a sister: Donna Otto. Survivors include a daughter: Michelle Bendurka, two sons: Michael (Debbie) and Jeffrey Whitmer all of Canton. Seven grandchildren: Stacy, Billie, Kelly, Nicole, Kasey, Jade, and Chloe. Ten great grandchildren. Special friends: Scott & Heidi Nelson and Jeff & Denny Halter. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. A private service will be for the family. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
