Darryl Hershberger, age 61, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 18, 2023 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Canton on November 25, 1961 to Jake and Irene (Miller) Hershberger.

Darryl had a sincere love for the Lord and being of service. A man of all trades, he was determined and hard working till the end of his earthly life.  Even with a terminal diagnosis he had a strong will to live fully through his final days.  This past summer he even planted "the biggest garden he has ever planted" and shared the harvest with friends, family, and neighbors. The seeds he planted both literally and figuratively will grow on and the harvest will be cherished by those whom lives he touched.

He is survived by his daughters Jennifer and Melissa Hershberger; granddaughter Kiley; mother Irene Hershberger; siblings Duane (Mabel) Hershberger, Debra Forrest, Ed (Lisa) Hershberger, Janelle Hershberger; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by father Jake; and siblings Devon, Janet and James Hershberger.

Calling hours are Tuesday November 21st from 4-7 PM at Cornerstone Community Chapel. Funeral services are Wednesday November 22nd at 11 AM in the church with Pastor Ron Embleton officiating. Final resting place is Marlboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
