Darlene S. Mishler, age 59, of North Canton, passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born in Canton on May 18, 1953 and graduated from Lake High School in 1971 and Bowling Green State University in 1975. She married her high school sweetheart, Tim, in 1976. Together they have raised two daughters Katie, age 31, and Kristy, age 28. She worked for North Canton City Schools for 20 years. She was a devoted wife and mother who often brought family together through her love of cooking. Her generosity to others, beautiful eyes and smile, and love of her dogs will always be remembered. Darlene found her strength in God and from the support of family and friends. She was an amazing woman. She is survived by her husband Tim; daughter and son-in-law Katie and Mike Sturznickel and daughter Kristy Mishler all of North Canton; father Howard Merkle of North Canton; sister Diane Krum of Canton and brother Gary Merkle of North Canton; and many close relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Eileen Merkle and brother-in-law Fred Krum. Calling hours are Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Avenue North in Canton.
