Daniel E. Secrest, age 73, of Clinton, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017. He was born in Canton to the late Richard Dean and Edna (Clark) Secrest, Sr. Daniel was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cathy Secrest; daughters, Kelly (Freddie) Bennington, Amanda Bonvechio and Brenna Bryce; grandchildren, Ashlea (Andre) Woods, Isabella and Samuel Bonvechio; grand dog, Shelby; great grandson, Zander Woods; and sister, Judith Mehaffie. A celebration of Daniels life will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, August 19th at the Jackson Bog Nature Preserve 4811 South Park Drive N.W.
