Dale Wayne Walter, age 82, of Canton, passed away Tuesday after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Roy and Mona (Perrine) Walter. Dale was a 1948 Graduate of Lincoln High School and a graduate of Canton Actual Business College. Roy had worked as an accountant for Republic Steel and was a member of First Church of the Resurrection. In addition to his parents Dale was preceded in death by a brother Roy Walter, Jr. He is survived by a sister, Nancy (Lowell) Stoner of Canton and a brother Gary (Kathy) Walter of Connecticut. Many nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to thank all those involved in the care of Dale. A graveside service will be 12 noon Friday in the Chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Bruce Mont officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Church of the Resurrection 901 E. Tuscarawas St. Canton, Ohio 44707. Please sign the guest book.
