Dale A. "Red" Taylor, age 88 of Hartville, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born October 14, 1924 in Middlebranch, Ohio to the late Ira and Eva (Kline) Taylor and graduated from Middlebranch High School. Dale was an Army WW II Veteran who served in North Africa and Europe. He retired from Teledyne Monarch Company after nearly 40 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, rooting for the Browns and the Buckeyes, feeding the birds in his back yard, playing Euchre, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Collette (Iseli) Taylor; children Cheryl and husband Steve Sprinkle of Hampstead, NH, Michele and husband Stephen Morrison of Centerville, OH, David and wife Mary Ann Taylor of Stellenbosch, South Africa; grandchildren Brett Sprinkle, Michael and wife Ashley Taylor, Gregory and wife Victoria Morrison, Jacqueline Taylor, Erin Morrison and Paige Taylor. He was preceded in death by daughter Lannette Taylor, brother Donald Taylor, and sister Helen Silvius. Visitation will be held Monday, April 29th from 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, and one hour prior to services, Tuesday, April 30th 12- 1 PM. Funeral services are Tuesday 1 PM at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Sunset Hills in Canton Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
