Dale Fisher, age 83, of Canton, passed away early Saturday morning in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Chester and Lucy (Head) Fisher. Dale was a graduate of Timken High School, attended Ohio State University and Kent Sate Electronics. Dale was an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from Republic Steel and formerly owned and operated Dale's TV of Canton for 30 years. Dale enjoyed traveling with his late wife Eleanor and was a wonderful father. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and a son Jack Fisher. Survivors include sons; James (Rosie) Fisher and Jerry (Larraine) Fisher and a daughter Bonnie (Bob) Jones, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Tuesday; 10 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. Interment will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 P.M. in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the Aultman nursing staff in CCU and the Palliative Care Unit.
