Dale R. Burdett, age 71, of Alliance passed away on February 11, 2024, at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center following complications from heart surgery. He was born March 11, 1952, in Canton to Raymond and Shirley (Myers) Burdett and is a graduate of Perry High School, The University of Akron, and Kent State University where he earned his master's degree. Dale spent over 30 years as the Treasurer of Alliance City Schools, retiring in 2007. He was a staunch Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Cavaliers fan. Following his marriage to Jean in 1987 he was an active member of Beech Mennonite Church.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jean Burdett; children Cory (Kayla) Burdett and Sara (Robbie) Martin; he was a loving "Papa" to his grandchildren Wyatt Burdett and Audrey, Taya, and Rylie Martin whom he adored.

Calling hours will be Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10-11:15 AM at Beech Mennonite Church at 10037 Easton St NE, Louisville, Ohio 44641, funeral services will be at 11:30 AM in the church with Pastor Matt Reed officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery.
