Cora B. McBrayer, age 98, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 9, 2013 in the comfort of her home. She was born on July 28, 1915 to the late Frank and Lura (Jarvis) Breckenridge. She married her high school sweetheart Elton "Mack" on April 28, 1934 and they moved to Hartville in 1940. She retired in 1975 from Monarch Rubber Co. after 33 years of service. Cora was a life-time member of the Hartville United Church of Christ where she served on various committees. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling with Mack in their camper. Preceded in death by her husband Elton L.; daughter Shirley Houck; 2 brothers, Russell (Helen) and Leonard (Katherine) Breckenridge; 2 sisters, Reva Breckenridge and Ernestine (Jim) Sharp. She is survived by her son-in-law Don Houck and grandson Eric Houck of Marlboro; niece Sandy Knowles of Hartville; great-nephew Bryan (Rhonda) Knowles of North Canton; great- niece Anita Knowles of California; nephews Russell Abston Breckenridge of Mississippi and James Breckenridge of Texas; and other relatives and friends. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 PM and one hour prior to services Friday 10-11 AM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev.
