Constance Wallace, a long-time resident of Shippenville, Pa. passed away December 27, 2014, following a brief illness. Constance, one of eleven brothers and sisters, was born on October 25, 1926 in Fukushima, Japan. Constance met the love of her life, Norman Wallace, while he was in the service stationed in Japan. They were married in 1948 and six years later they came to the United States, settling in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Constance enjoyed keeping up with current events, cooking, playing cards, playing bingo and, most importantly, taking care of her beloved Norman. Constance will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman. Constance is survived by her nieces Linda (David) Sklar of Canton, Ohio, Carol Kaufman of Prospect Kentucky, by her siblings in Japan, and by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her close friends, Aenan Schmader, Alice Schmader, Mitsuko and Paul Shumaker, Seiko and Roger Grunphaner, Bonnie Hawk, Paul Lorigan, and Sally Meyers, who all contributed so much to Constance's quality of life in her later years. They loved Constance for the smart, funny, and beautiful woman that she was.
