Our Beloved Connie Jean (Meehan)Armour, 60 of North Canton, OH went peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 19th, 2011 from the arms of her family to the arms of our Father in heaven. Preceded in death by her earthly father David Meehan, and nephew David Franklin II joining them in glory for all eternity. Survived by her husband of 24 years, John Armour of N. Canton; mother, Barbar Meehan of Louisville; sister Karen(David) Minor of Louisville; brother David(Cathy) Meehan of Surprise, AZ; niece's Karla(Matt) Ramsey of Homerville; Kristen(Mike) Greathouse of Louisville; nephew's Michael Meehan of Canton, Isaiah and Nathaniel Meehan of Surprise, AZ; great nieces Olivia Ramsey and Marilyn Greathouse; great nephews Adam, Aaron and Isaac Ramsey and Michael Greathouse III, and the many friends and family she blessed every day of her life. To know Connie was to love her. Connie graduated from McKinley High school in 1969, Graduated from South Broward Nursing School, Hollywood, FL in 1977. She was a retired LPN nurse and caregiver, proud Member of the McKinley Bulldog booster club. An active member of Crosspointe (Firestone Road Baptist) church and longtime AWANA cubbies director where she shared her faith with the children she loved. She was a life bane volunteer and organ donation speaker where she encouraged others and shared her experience as a kidney transplant recipient. She was also a member of the Stark County Trio and National kidney foundations. Connie enjoyed golfing at Oakwood Country Club where she was a longtime member. Ever the encourager, Connie always kept in close contact with cards and letters no matter what personal trial she encountered. Her greatest joys were spending time with her dog Julie and visiting with family. Never having children of her own, she had a way of inspiring the young children in her immediate and church families. Connie's life will be celebrated at Crosspointe Church 5715 Market Ave. N., Canton, OH 44721 on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 4:00. Friends may call an hour prior to the service.
