Clifford T. Krantz, age 88, of Marlboro, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2017. He was born on April 23, 1929 in Canton to the late James Arnold and Laura (Keller) Krantz. Cliff had his own business, Cliff's Custom Carpentry. He was a lifetime member (over 69 years) of Carpenter's Union 639/285, Knight's of Columbus at St. Joseph's in Suffield.

Cliff was an avid hunter and fisherman, kept his small farm in tip-top shape, and spent many hours playing cards with dear friends. The many homes and other structures that were his handiwork are scattered primarily throughout the Summit, Portage, and Stark County area.

Preceded in death by son John; brother Lewis "Melvin"; sister Beulah Bennett; he is survived by 2 sons David (Diane) and Jerry; 4 grandchildren; long time friend, Martha Drake, they were together 40 years; siblings Marge Moss, Arlene Rothermel, Norma (Paul) Zwick, Goldie (David) Blanset, Fr. Ernest Krantz; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours are 10-11AM Saturday with services beginning at 11 AM all at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Memorials may be made to Marlboro and Suffield Fire Departments.
