Clarice R. Smith, age 81, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday morning March 11, 2010 in the comfort of her home with family by her side. She was born in Kimbolton, OH on December 18, 1928 to the late Raymond and Mary (Brady) Dyer. She attended McKinley High School and worked for Superior Dairy and Teledyne Monarch. Her favorite work was being a wife, mother and grandmother and she loved to sew especially wedding dresses and Barbie clothes. She is survived by her husband of 62 years John; children Carol and Ray Bixler of Uniontown, Debbie and Jim Green and Tim Smith all of Hartville; grandchildren Heather and Ken Raber, Jason and Sage Bixler, Shannon and Steve Brant, Steven and Corey Green, Eric Smith and Stephanie Smith; great-grandchildren Megan, Justin, Evan and Nathan Raber, Kagan and Callan Bixler, Nolan, Carter and Demi Brant, Aiyanna, Faith and Charity Smith; sister Violet and Lou Kolich of Canton; brothers Wayne and Marylou Dyer of Canton, John and Vera Dyer of North Canton; sister-in-law Marge Dyer of Canton; other relatives and friends including special friends Cheryl Rae and Stroker. Preceded in death by 5 brothers. A memorial service will be held Saturday APRIL 10th at 1 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. John Bertsch officiating.
