Clarence Wright of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Barberton passed away on October 2, 2013 at the age of 81. He quietly crossed over into heaven from his residence at the Danbury of North Canton. He was a kind gentle man and had a welcoming spirit cultivating many friendships with the residents and staff there. He was a Godly example to those who knew him, and served as a member at the Church of the Nazarene. Family was an important facet in his life and family members will remember and hold dear the smiles, the gentleness of spirit, and his faithful prayers. He retired from B&W after 42 years of service, respected by his coworkers for his values and dedication. Clarence is survived by two daughters, Pam (Jim) Bailey of North Canton, Deb (Ray) Wease of North Carolina and one son, Michael (Tammy) Wright of Tennessee. Clarence was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren; Melissa (Kevin) Pruesser, Venessa (Donnie) French, Benjamin (Megan) Wease, Megan (Kiet) Bailey-Chung and Andrea Dugan. Great- grandchildren; Jessa Johnson, Austin Bailey, Karoleena Lumas, Hailee French, Jonathan Wease, and Liam Chung. Many loving family members including three sisters, Margaret (Edward) Fenton of North Canton, Ercel Holmes and Phyllis (EC) Waddell both of North Carolina as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. Kevin Slyh officiating. Friends may call on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron. Please sign our guest book.
