Clarence F. "Corky" Naus, age 83, of Uniontown passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. He was born in Bolivar, Ohio on June 19, 1928 to the late Hilda (Spitler) Haverlock and Clarence "Pete" Naus. Raised in Mineral City, Ohio, he has made the Hartville- Uniontown Area his home since 1965. A proud Ironworker and member of Local 550 in Canton, his career took him across the country building- rebuilding steel mills. Corky leaves behind his wife Helen whom he has been married to for 63 years; four sons Jim of Uniontown, John of Akron, Ed (Kathy) of Mineral City, Joe (Dawn) of Mogadore; and five grandchildren Curt of Somerdale, Stacey of Canton, Jessica, Taylor and Amanda all of Mogadore. He was preceded in death by a sister Adora Jean Pingstock and daughter-in-law Angie Naus. At the wish of Clarence, there will be no calling hours. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
