Clair L. Thompson age 93 passed away Monday October 8th at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1925 in Salem, Indiana to Fletcher and Lola Pearl (Miller) Thompson. He served his country in WWII in the Army Air Corp. Clair spent his career working in agricultural sales for Kerr-McGee Chemical and Besco Co. He was an active member of Church of the Savior.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Jean; children, Barbara (Rick) Hiegl of Massillon, Jay (Lynn) Thompson of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Mark (Dr. Misty) Hiegl, Megan (Judson) Powers, Adam (Teal) Thompson; great-grandchildren, MacKayla Hiegl, Mason Hiegl, Erika Powers; sister, Carol (Leonard) Chastain of Salem, IN.

Calling hours will be Thursday 1-2 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton, Services will begin at 2 PM with Dr. William R. Harvey officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
