Obituary

Cheryl Lynn (Kuchta) Clifford, age 59, of Jackson Township, Canton, Ohio passed away Monday, June 18, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services of Belden Village. She was born on July 30, 1947 in Winsted, CT to the late George and Gertrude (Weaving) Kuchta. Cheryl graduated from NW Regional High School #7 and the University of Hartford. Cheryl taught school in the East Heartland, CT school district for eleven years prior to attending Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. After she received her Master of Divinity Degree, she became the Associate Pastor of Christian Education at St. John United Church of Christ in Massillon in 1988. She also served as the Minister of Christian Education for five years at First Church of the Resurrection where she is currently a member. She served as spiritual director with the Walk to Emmaus. She also served as an office manager with her husband at their accounting firm of Clifford and Associates. In 1995, Cheryl had the honor to become the second mother of quadruplets in Stark County and is an active member of the Canton Area Mothers of Multiples Club. She is also the den mother of Cub Scout Pack #921. She is survived by her husband Steven, with whom she would have celebrated 18 years of marriage this July 22, 2007; children, Ruth Marie, Paul Arthur, Heidi Lynn, and Robert Steven; two sisters, Joan Chamberlain of Manchester, CT, Heidi Kuchta and Kirt Fielosh of Plainville, CT; two brothers, George and Anna Marie Kuchta of Granby, CT, Charles Kuchta and Francine Milette of Barkhamsted, CT; three nephews, Brian Kuchta, Jack Chamberlain and Zachary Fielosh; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the First Church of the Resurrection with Rev. Stephen Carmany officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 PM and Saturday one hour prior to the services 9-10:00 AM at the First Church of the Resurrection, 901 E. Tuscarawas St., Canton, OH 44707.
