Charlotte Muzzy, age 84, of Canton, passed away peacefully Monday morning after a short illness. She was born in Port Murray, New Jersey to the late Anthony & Josephine (Fazio) Paretta. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She cared deeply for all of her friends and will be missed by many. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 1993, brothers; Floyd, Claude, John, Lynn, Albert & Russell Paretta, sisters; Yula Highman, Frances Puglio, & Mary Wilson. Charlotte is survived by her children, Leonard Muzzy, II, Debra (Mark) Kerr & William (Vicki) Muzzy all of Canton, Grandchildren; Abby & Jonathan Kerr, Matthew & Elizabeth Muzzy, great-granddaughter, Alexia Kerr, sisters; Jean Block & Julia Davis also survive. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Pastor Calvin Schlabach officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
