Charlotte Ruth Green, age 94, formerly of Canton passed away on Saturday morning March 27, 2010 at Menorah Park in Beachwood. She was born in Youngstown on March 14, 1916 to the late Jacob and Ethel (Stern) Katowitz. She married Hugo Green in 1937. She was an active member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue, past president of the Sisterhood and Sunday School Principal and teacher. She impressed people with her piano playing and actually played until a few months ago. Preceded in death by her husband Hugo in 1997, sister Mildred Goldenberg, brother Julius Herskovitz and son-in-law Howard King. She is survived by her children Diana King of Naples, FL, James (Elyse) Green of South Euclid, Cheryl Green of Brady Lake and Monica (Steve) Rosenberg of Moreland Hills; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
