Charles Albert Urban Jr., Age 83, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. He was born in Canton, to the late Charles Urban Sr. And Ruth Urban.Charles served 21 years in the U.S. Army, as well as many years of safety and security related jobs. A frequent volunteer for the Red Cross, Refuge of Hope, along with various charitable organizations. He was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife Helen Mae Urban and his sister Grace. He is survived by his sisters Pearl, Carol and Virginia; Children, Helen Benedict, Charles Urban, Penny Urban-Butterworth, Victor Urban and their spouses; grandchildren, Brandie, Jacob, Sylvia, Ivy, Ashley, Lindsey, Shawna, Erika, BobbiJo, Robert, Michael, Chas IV, Jude, Zoe and 20 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 5 pm Friday, March 8th in the Arnold Funeral Home 1517 Market Ave. N. Family and friends may call 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rufuge of Hope 715 2nd Street NE, Canton, Ohio 44704.
