Cecile Ferguson, age 75 of Canton, passed away Wednesday afternoon August 14, 2024, in University Hospital of Cleveland. She was born June 24, 1949, in Ravenna, Ohio to John and Rose (Diamond) Duffy. She graduated from Rootstown High School in 1967. Cecile was a dedicated homemaker while raising her family and later worked for JoAnn Fabrics, the Haines Company and North Canton Medical Foundation. She loved riding on motorcycles with her husband, bowling and she was a talented seamstress.

Cecile is survived by her husband of 55 wonderful years; sons, Keith Ferguson, Kevin (Jenny) Ferguson, granddaughter Karley Ferguson; sister, Laura (Dayton) Clark; brother, John "Jack" (Faye) Duffy; several nieces, nephews and was a special Nana to Lincoln, Dayton and Colette. She was preceded in death by son, Craig Ferguson; sister, Kathy O'Neal; brothers, Jim and Michael Duffy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday August 21 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish at Our Lady of Peace Church with Fr. Daniel Finnerty officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass at the Church 10-11:00 a.m.
