Carolyn Jones Maltese, age 78 of North Canton, passed away Friday night with her family by her side. She was born October 16, 1938 in Bridgeport West Virginia to Roy F. and Hazel (Moser) Jones. Carolyn retired from Jackson Local Schools where she worked for over 30 years. She spent her life as a lifetime loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved crafts and her passion was genealogy having spent countless hours accurately documenting her family history. She has ascended into Heaven now to complete her geneology research.

She is survived by her brother, Arthur Jones (Lois); aunts, Alice Moser and Della Zoladz children, Don Maltese Jr. (Mary Ann), Debbie Sweitzer, Diane Hessedence (Jeff), David Maltese (Mary), Doug Maltese (Pam), Denise Maltese (Scott); grandchildren, Tiffany Welker (David), Ashley Lindeman (Jim), Kimberly Sweitzer (Chad), Jessica, Jennifer, Julie, Jacob Hessedence, Mindi McCormick (Andrew), Mike, Melissa Maltese, Sydney, Logan Maltese, Anjellica Almond (Matt), Cassi, Katelyn Beard; great grandchildren, Gianna, Connor Welker, Cash, Broderyck, Maddox, Francesca Lindeman, Ethan Hessedence, Liam, Kellen McCormick, Payton, Aubrey, Caden Almond.

Private family funeral services will be Tuesday at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio with Pastor Brad Zoladz officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to Aultman Hospice, The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to the Aultman Hospice Team and the Nurse Aids from the Inn at Whitewood.
