Carolyn L. Dalton, age 73, of Hartville, passed away on Tuesday morning March 4, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was born October 13, 1940 in Clarksburg, WV. She met and married Ronald Dalton on February 9, 1956 and they moved to Akron in 1961, then to Hartville in 1974. While her children were growing up she was a homemaker, then she became a nursing aid at Hartville Manor for 14 years. She was a member of the Hartville T.O.P.S. for 20 years. She loved the holidays, gardening, summertime and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronnie; children Ronetta (Gary) Marcum of Hartville, Randy (Sharon) Dalton of Newark, Delaware, Kim (Pat) Dalton Lockmyer of Green, Jeff (Barb) Dalton of Tallmadge, Karen Dalton (Bill Vanest); sister Shelby Rastle; grandchildren Mandy (Jason) Evans, Mindy (Andy) Midcap, Gary Marcum, Alex Dalton; great-grandchildren A.J., Gage, Taegan and Brynn; sisters-in-law Elouise (Ron) Pierson and Sandra (Randy) Cropp; and brother-in-law Bernie Dalton. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville and one hour prior to services Saturday 10-11 AM. Funeral services are Saturday 11 AM at the funeral home.
