Carolyn (Cebe) L. Bosworth, age 84, of Canton, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2013. Born in Dayton Ohio on February 6, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Eleanor (Combs) Bartels. She graduated from Oakwood High School of Dayton in 1946 and attended Ohio State University from 1946 to 1948. She was married June 11, 1949 to the late James N. Bosworth and later returned to finish her degree at Malone College, graduating in 1968 with Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching. She was an English teacher in the Plain Local Schools system from 1969 to 1986 where she also coached the Debate Team and was score keeper for the Glenwood Swim Team. Cebe always displayed a keen wit and was quick to correct improperly used grammar no matter the source. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and put her family above all else. She is survived by daughter, Cindy (Dennis) Schleappi, sons Scott (Mary Ann) Bosworth and Andy (Laura) Bosworth; grandchildren, Chris (Melanie) Roddy, Alex (Holly) Roddy, Cory Schleappi, Tyler Schleappi, Jamie (Lisa) Bosworth, Aimee (Nathan) Monaco, Lauren Bosworth, Brenden Bosworth; great granddaughter Amelia Monaco; sister Betty (Bebe) Bates of Dayton. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro, Ohio.
