IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol J.
Stromsky
May 5, 1942 – August 22, 2022
Philippians 1:3 - I thank my God every time I remember you. Carol Jean Stromsky was awarded her crown of righteousness on August 22, 2022, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the caring wife to Chester Stromsky for 59 years. She was a loving mother to Karen and Jay McMasters of North Canton; Kevin and Lisa Stromsky of Madison, Wisconsin; and Kelly and Jeffrey Conner of West Lafayette, Ohio. She was adored by her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Emily, Jordan, Justin, Emily, and Lauren, who called her Mamo.
Carol's kind and gentle spirit made her the perfect example of love and grace. Her genuine care for those around her led her to the nursing profession. Carol was a faithful member of her church, and attended many Bible studies and prayer groups. Her favorite activities included taking walks, eating chocolate ice cream, listening to Andy Williams, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Carol, 80, was born on May 5, 1942. She is preceded in death by beloved parents Jack and Jean Davis; daughter Monica Stromsky; and sister Joan (Paul) Harp.
Calling hours will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 29, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in North Canton, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service officiated by Pastor Anders Davidson.
In lieu of flowers, please donate on her behalf to Alzheimer's Association at http://act.alz.org/goto/carolstromsky, or Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 7707 Market Ave N, North Canton, OH 44721.
