Carol A. Kessler, age 85, of North Canton, passed away on February 21, 2024, at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Canton on July 6, 1938, to Ralph and Lois (Godar) Lindower and is a graduate of Hoover High School. Following school, Carol spent time working at the Hoover Company and then began her banking career, retiring from First Merit Bank. Carol loved her pets and tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed listening to music of all types. Carol valued her family above all else and she cherished all the time they spent together.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry. Carol is survived by her children Jake (Tracey) Kessler, Melinda Reiss, Greg Kessler, Melissa (Jon) Middleton; grandchildren Chris (Audra) Kessler, Courtney (Derek) Davis, Heather (Robert) Sopinec, Dan (Hallie) Reiss, Emily (Travis) Sams, Andrew Kessler, Grace Kessler, Lauren Slaughter, Kristen (Josh) Black, Allison Tice, and Rob Tice; 13 great grandchildren; siblings Dave (Jody) Lindower, Alice Masci, Dick (Doris Thrasher) Lindower, and Randy (Ethel) Lindower.

Calling hours will be Sunday, February 25 at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N from 3-5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Fr. John Keehner officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
