Carl Knop, Jr., age 89, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday March 27, 2016. He was born in Canton, Ohio on January 31, 1927 to Carl Sr. and Ila (Everitt) Knop and graduated from Timken High School. Carl was a WW II Army Veteran. A retired Electrician for Hilscher Clarke Electric and member of Electrical Local Union 540.

Faithful member of Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church, Carl had participated in Christian Service Brigade and volunteered with Wheels of Hope.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Elinor (Okey), daughter Martha Knop, sons Carl Knop and Mark Knop all of Canton; sisters Helen (George) Anderson and Barbara Brooks all of Canton and brother Roger (Carole) Knop of Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his brother Dale Knop.

Calling hours are Thursday 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services will be Friday 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Final resting place is St. Jacob's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church, 2911 William St. NE, North Canton, OH 44721.
