Carl G. Duckworth, age 84, of Canton passed away December 25, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center following an illness. He was born January 17, 1938 in Canton to Hanibal and Lillian (Johnson) Duckworth and is a graduate of Timken High School. Following high school, Carl began a 45-year career with the Timken Company. While with Timken, he was able to travel to Australia and Africa in his role as a Principal Process Analyst. He loved to golf, spend time with his grandchildren, as well as tend to his bird feeder collection at his home.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Hanibal and Lillian; son Robert Hamilton Duckworth; infant son Glenn Patrick Duckworth; brothers Lowell, Ernest, and Gerald.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Zita; children Brian, Carla, Kevin, Eric, Todd, Randal, Nathan; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Jay.

Calling hours will be Friday, December 30, from 10-11 AM at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home at 4817 Cleveland Ave NW. Funeral services will begin at 11:15 AM with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery.
