"TOGETHER AGAIN" picture C. Allen Cozart, age 94, of Suffield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, July 17, 2009 following an extended illness. He was born May 18, 1915 at home in Hickory Knob (Wetzel County), West Virginia to the late George and Samantha (Shreve) Cozart. Allen was a carpenter retiring from the Wingfoot Lake plant of Goodyear Aerospace. He was a lifelong farmer, beginning as a dairy farmer in Smithfield, West Virginia and raised beef cattle after moving to Suffield, Ohio in 1950. He loved gardening, telling jokes and always had a kind word to say. He was a member of Abundant Grace Ministries in Hartville, Ohio and enjoyed the choir and fellowship of his church. He was a truly devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be sadly and dearly missed. Allen is preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 56 years, Arlene Louise (Brewer) Cozart. Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Herman, Lawrence, Forest, George, and Willard Cozart, and sisters Bernice Syphers, Evelyn Kaufman and Olive Konkel. Left to cherish his memory and legacy are his brother, Harold Cozart of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, his three children Stephen and Aleta Cozart of Suffield, Ohio, Emily Salvatore of Libertyville, Illinois and Michele and Art Fach of East Canton, Ohio. Ten grandchildren, Cindy and Allen Kisamore, Chris Cozart, Mindy and Mike O'Keefe, Ken and Kinsey Salvatore, David, Amy, Michael and Molly Salvatore, Greg and Elizabeth Fach; three great grandchildren, Aidan, Kennedy and Cuinn O'Keefe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Monday 5-9 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville and one hour prior to services Tuesday 10-11 AM. Funeral services are Tuesday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Mitchell officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery . Memorials may be made to Suffield Fire Department.
