Bruce E. Johnson, age 65, passed away unexpectedly August 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Canton on September 20, 1955, to Chester E. and Arlene L. (Grovemiller) Johnson and graduated from Perry High School class of 1974. Bruce was a lifelong resident of the Canton area and spent his career as an auto technician, most recently working for Mastertech in Massillon. He loved all things car related including racing, one of his biggest passions. Bruce was looking forward to watching the future success of the Cleveland Browns. He will be missed by all.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, and stepson Billy. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Deborah; daughter Tina Johnson and stepson Robert Price; grandchildren Keyera, Koran, Kyla, Delicia and Regina; brother Thomas (Jennifer) Johnson.

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home at 4817 Cleveland Ave from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be at 6 PM at the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
