Bruce P. Bickart, age 66, of Canton, died Monday morning after an extended illness. Born in Canton to the late Paul L. and Sarah P. (Starr) Bickart he was a life resident. Bruce graduated from Glenwood High School in 1967, was a Navy Veteran during Viet Nam, and was retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He is survived by two brothers: Mark J. (Diana) Bickart of Canton and William D. (Kerry) Bickart of Zephyrhills, FL, and Aunt: Marilyn Stertzbach of Massillon . One niece and three nephews also survive. A memorial service will be on Saturday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. with Rev. Nancy Conley officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. 70 W.
