Brian James Gottsabend Brian Gottsabend, 58, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 15, 2015. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1956, to Mabel and Walter Gottsabend. A self-employed master carpenter, and a consummate slide guitar player of the blues and southern rock, he lived his life doing what he loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter. He is survived by his loving children, Eric and Ellen; his mother, Mabel; his former wife, Cindy; his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Darla of North Carolina; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Brenda; his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Jeffrey Heath of California; brother of another mother, Dan Heath; nieces and nephews, Gina (Lucas) Brahler; Caitlin Gottsabend of North Carolina; Jamey (Court) Schuett of Illinois; Adam (Kaileen) Sues of Texas; Hannah (Joe) Flanagan; grand-nephews, Devon Crooks, Jackson Brahler, Alexzander Tallent of North Carolina , and Elliot Schuett of Illinois.
