Obituary

Bradley Adkins, age 69 of Canton/Brewster went to be with the Lord unexpectedly May 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith and kindness that touched everyone he encountered. Brad was a devoted husband to his wife Cathy and proud father to his daughter Amanda (Tony) Howard.  The greatest joy in his life was being "Papaw" to his three wonderful grandsons Jase, Jake and James whom he adored beyond measure. His love for his family was unwavering and deep, which reflected his steadfast faith and generous spirit.

Brad was a faithful servant of Christ and a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he found joy in worship and especially loved singing in the choir. His voice was not only heard in song but also in the quiet, everyday ways he showed God's love through a smile that could light up a room. His kindness never wavered, and he gave from the heart freely and selflessly.

Brad's love extended far beyond his immediate family. He held a close and special bond with his sister Teresa (Rob) Herrmann, sister-in-law Chris (Jeff) Sanor; brother-in-law Ron (Nancy) Price. He will also be deeply missed by nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Tiffany and Kimberly, Noah, Ian and Noel, Tiffany and Matthew, all of whom he was proud of.

He is also survived by his lifelong best friend Mike. Brad and Mike shared countless cherished moments, laughing together and supporting each other.

As Brad entered his eternal home, he was joyfully embraced by his loved ones who went before him including his parents, Joe and Marlene, brother Randy and grandson Blake. Brads absence leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who knew and loved him but we all find comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in heaven, singing with the angels and walking with his Savior. He will be remembered as a man while lived with a purpose to love, serve and shine the light of Christ in all he did. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, and his memory will be forever cherished.
