Blanche Moore

Blanche Moore, age 91, of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2026. She was born in Massillon to the late Ralph and Golda (Bartholomeu) Goodman. Following her education, Blanche began an over 30-year career education teaching kindergarten at Jackson, Lake, Rootstown, and Marlington local schools. A woman of deep faith, she was active in her church, Science Hill Community Church and enjoyed volunteering her time and baking skills to the church as needed. Outside the church, she was very community oriented and was generous with her time and resources. She enjoyed reading, playing games, puzzles, and crafting. Blanche adored her time away in Florida every winter and enjoyed every minute in the Florida sunshine.

Blanche is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Moore.

She is survived by her children Brent (Christina) Moore, Carmen (John) Fackler, and Kevin (Karen) Moore; grandchildren Aleina Moore, August (Leilani) Fackler, Isaac Fackler, Elijah Fackler, Brittany (Rockne) Flugan, Kelsea Moore, Brandi (Michael) Williams, and Lindsea (Jesse) Partain; 8 great grandchildren and 3 new great grandchildren on the way; brother Wendell (Lucy) Goodman.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 16 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Science Hill Community Church at 12316 Beeson St. NE Alliance, Ohio 44601, and again Thursday from 10 – 11 AM in the church. Funeral services will be at 11 AM in the church with Pastor Jonathan Truax officiating. Final resting place is Marlboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
